About Clarity with Caroline Sessions
You feel stuck, overwhelmed, or weighed down by life’s challenges. You’re ready for clarity, support, and a path forward. You're looking for some compassion, understanding, guidance to help clarify your past, present, and future.
Clarity with Caroline Sessions is an intentional, transformative therapeutic experience. I offer an integrative approach that blends Adlerian psychology, evidence-based psychotherapy, and Eastern wisdom, creating a space where insight, resilience, and lasting growth are the focus.
With over 10 years of experience across coaching, school counseling, individual/couples/family therapy, and behavioral health case management, I bring a depth of expertise and clinical precision to every client. My background as a registered pharmacy technician also adds a nuanced understanding of psychopharmacology, ensuring care is both comprehensive and informed.
Therapy and coaching here is collaborative, tailored, and purpose-driven, designed to meet you where you are and guide you toward clarity, balance, and meaningful progress.
Services
Individual counseling: I offer 50–55 minute psychotherapy sessions tailored to your unique needs. Therapy offers a supportive, trauma-informed space to process loss, heal from painful or overwhelming experiences, and explore the emotional impact of change. Our work is reflective and restorative, helping you feel understood, supported, and grounded as you move toward healing, resilience, and deeper self-understanding.
Coaching: I offer coaching for individuals who are ready to focus on growth, clarity, and forward movement. Coaching is future-oriented and action-based, supporting you in setting goals, strengthening boundaries, shifting patterns, and navigating life transitions with intention. Unlike therapy, coaching does not involve diagnosing or treating mental health concerns, but instead emphasizes practical strategies, accountability, and empowered decision-making.
About Caroline
I am a Licesnsed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through grief, trauma, and life transitions. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, which form the foundation of my clinical expertise. In addition, I am a registered pharmacy technician in the state of Florida, with extensive knowledge of psychopharmacology, giving me a unique perspective on the interplay between mental health and medication.
My professional experience spans school counseling, couples and family therapy within a private practice setting, and behavioral health case management, allowing me to meet clients wherever they are in their healing journey. I bring a holistic lens to my practice, integrating evidence-based psychotherapy with mind-body approaches, including my training as a certified yoga instructor, Certified High-Sense Perception practitioner, and Reiki (Levels 1, 2, and Master).
This combination of clinical expertise, psychopharmacology knowledge, and holistic modalities allows me to offer therapy that is both deeply informed and profoundly human, supporting clients in building resilience, insight, and lasting transformation.
I am a mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend—just a person navigating life like everyone else. I’m constantly growing and learning, and the work I do in therapy is always in collaboration with you. Outside of my practice, I love staying active and working out, exploring new countries and cultures through travel, getting lost in a good novel, and indulging my passion as a self-proclaimed tea connoisseur. I bring this same curiosity, energy, and authenticity into my work, creating a space that is compassionate, grounded, and real.
Therapy Style
My work is grounded in Adlerian psychology, a holistic and relational approach that looks at how early experiences, social connections, and personal values shape our choices and behaviors. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, Adlerian therapy explores patterns, life goals, and the meaning behind your experiences, empowering change through insight, encouragement, and intentional action.
I also draw on Eastern wisdom, integrating practices and perspectives that emphasize mindfulness, presence, and balance. I utilize somatic practices to enhance the therapy experience and to facilitate a well-rounded approach to my sessions. By blending clinical expertise with these timeless insights, my approach supports healing that is both structured and deeply human—helping you cultivate resilience, clarity, and a sense of inner harmony.
Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some frequently asked questions to help you determine if working with me is the right fit for your journey:
Do you take insurance? How much is a session?
I take most major insurance plans, including Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Oscar, United, Optum, Oxford, Quest, Carelon, Anthem, FL Blue, and several others. With using insurance, you may or may not have a co-pay to your insurance depending on your plan. For cash paying patients: Sessions are $125 per session, however, I can provide a Superbill for insurance reimbursement upon request. Coaching services cannot be billed through insurance and are cash pay only.
How long are sessions?
Therapy sessions are 50-55 minutes. For coaching sessions, I offer 60 minute and 90 minute sessions.
How often should I have a session? How long do I need to be in therapy?
Session frequency is up to you. I typically recommend starting with weekly sessions for the first few months so we can build a strong, supportive relationship and create a solid foundation for your work together. While meaningful progress can begin within six months to a year, many clients choose to engage in longer-term work that unfolds over several years.
Do you diagnose your patients?
In my therapeutic practice, my focus is not on diagnostic labels, but on understanding what you need support with. However, if you plan to use insurance, a formal diagnosis is required for coverage. When appropriate, diagnoses are made thoughtfully and in collaboration with you.
In coaching sessions, we do not use any clinical pieces in that work and focus on tackling hurdles to achieve goals.
Do you offer virtual or in-person sessions?
At this time, my practice is primarily virtual, however, I can accommodate in-appointments on a case-by-case basis within the Tampa Bay Area. Sessions are held via Doxy, a HIPPA-protected online platform for therapy.
